A New Literature for the New Millennium

Asterius Press RSS Feeds

RSS, or Really Simple Syndication is an XML-based format for content distribution. Asterius Press offers a number of feeds for use in news aggregators( news readers), websites or blogs. Feeds are limited to headlines, summaries, and links back to Asterius Press websites on which the full content is stored. Asterius Press currently uses RSS version 2.0.

For more information on the RSS format and news aggregators, read Mark Pilgrim's article, "What is RSS?"

Adding Asterius News Feeds

There are several ways you can install a news aggregator that displays RSS feeds. You add the URL's of the Web sites you select, allowing you to retrieve many headlines simultaneously. Upon installing a news aggregator, you can add each feed manually from the Web site by clicking the XML button (or link) next to the feed.

If you don't want to go to the trouble of downloading and installing a news aggregator (many of them are not free), you might prefer, as an easier alternative, to add an rss feed to a web-based news aggregator such as My Yahoo.
