No Money, No Gas, and I'm Running Low on Ink Too!

Hello, faithful readers. I hope your summer has been going well. Despite wars and bad weather and high gas prices, we are still here . . . still standing. And so, without further adieu, I bring you a new issue of The 13th Warrior Review, more or less on time give or take a day or so. It's not a half-bad issue if I do say so myself. There is certainly enough material to keep you guys busy for a little while, at least. There is one change I should explain -- as of this issue Asterius Press has joined the Creative Commons movement. After the Amari Hamedene plagiarism scandal last spring, I did a lot of research (and soul-searching) looking for a common sense approach to allow for free interchange of creative thought while, at the same time, providing an additional layer of protection for the intellectual property displayed on this site. I came to the conclusion that Creative Commons Licensing was the way to go. Allow me to assure the individual artists whose work appears in this issue that this new deal in no way infringes on your individual copyright nor substantially changes the terms of our publishing agreement. Anyhow . . . hope you enjoy the issue.
