Been a Long Time Comin'
But I'm back, finally, with a new issue of the ole Thirteenth Warrior Review -- now going into its fourth year of publication. I offer no apologies or explanations for the delay. I think I've apologized and groveled enough over the last year. I can only hope that you guys feel that this issue is worth the wait. Indeed, I do feel this is the strongest issue to date. The poetry has always been a strength of this ezine, and it is also strong in this issue. However, I think over the course of the last couple of issues, the fiction section has started to come into its own. In fact, this issue, with an offering from a fine Bulgarian writer, Stoyan Valev reaffirms my belief that 13thWR is reaching beyond borders in a way that only the Internet is capable of doing. I only wish I had the time and money necessary to make a multi-lingual edition of 13thWR available as I think it would make it an even more appealing and inclusive publication for its growing number of readers. Still, even though 13thWR is only available in English -- and American English at that -- here's hoping there is great reading (and re-reading) value in these pages.
peace and best wishes,
JCE
