FLACCIDUS: TO HIS HOURGLASS

Claxon Alarum Stay thee this once
Cease from thy disturbed commotion
The dwelling of Flaccidus abhorreth
clamor Hush ye Thou bell of sand
Allot me not thy mote Leave me
my silence untallied in thy tolling
Measure provideth all end
thou portion of nothing
Keep thee from utterance
Abacus of anonymuncules
Quiet maketh the hour plenteous
and to thicken like the fig left
hanging swells and softens
purple blue bruised sweet
Ceasless glass your indulgence
Forgive Flaccidus who tarries
Forgive Flaccidus who would ripen
even the sun Thou vessel of salt
Thou whisper Thou thread
Thou rosary of gravity Sieve
Flaccidus out yet this riddle
To stay thy hand upon thy servant
and lay Flaccidus down in
the house of eternity Pray thee
Not in the house of time
