NOTES - 08/27/2001

Okay, kiddies, I admit it - I have a major problem getting 13thWR online on a regular schedule. By my calculations, I've been two months behind with each of the (so far) three issues. Admittedly, the delays with the first two were not in any way my fault, however, as I'm the publisher, editor, webmaster, etc., I suppose it's my responsibility regardless. And, certainly, it has been my fault that this issue has been delayed. I began working on it Memorial Day and had every intention of getting it online by mid-June. What can I say? I went on vacation and didn't write the reviews before I left. I temporarily misplaced Tina Blue's essay and got distracted reading other submissions, books on web design and playing around with new toys like my new publishing software and my digital camera. In between, there was another week of vacation, during which, I accomplished nothing except gain five more pounds and get further behind. Suddenly, I found myself overwhelmed, having let the situation get out of control. Well, hopefully, I've gotten the situation in hand now. Over the next several weeks, Asterius Press will be back in action. Look for new issues and maybe one or two surprises. In the meantime, here is the Summer issue of 13thWR to keep the kiddies occupied for awhile. I hope it pleases. In any event...

Peace,
